Moms Running Group

Monica and I have decided that we are going to start training for Crazy Legs that is April 30th.  It is a 5 mile race, and has a couple bigger hills.  But the race is fun, and it ends inside Camp Randall.  If you would like to sign up with us, we would love to have some company!  I have just started running again this week, and I have a lot of training to do the next two months!  If you think Crazy Legs might be too soon, I am hoping to run another short race sometime in August or September.  Here is a website that helps you start training for a 5K race in two months.  http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

Bouncy Town USA on Friday

I just wanted to remind everyone that we will be going to Bouncy Town this Friday.  Lets plan on meeting at 10:30.  Bring a lunch to eat there, and we will stay until the children can't bounce anymore.  I hope to see you there!

Things Happening Around Town

There are a few things going on in Madison this weekend I thought I would just share on here.  There is a Kids Expo at the Alliant Energy Center.  They have a petting zoo, bounce houses, music groups, story times, and local companies there.  I have never been so I can't tell you much more.  Check out the website for times and ticket prices: http://www.bravamagazine.com/MadisonKidsExpo.aspx

Winter Fest is also taking place downtown this weekend.  They bring in snow and you can try out a bunch of winter activities like snowshoeing, sledding, snow & ice sculpting.  Check out the website for more info: http://www.winter-fest.com/

Movie Night on Saturday

It was very nice seeing you all yesterday at Mom's Group.  And I was happy to meet a couple new ladies, I am so glad you were able to join us! 

We will be having a movie night at Candace's house this Saturday at 7:00.  Please bring a snack to share, and if you have a favorite movie, please bring that as well!  If you need directions, feel free to email me or Candace.  I look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Meeting Tomorrow!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day! 
We will finally have our first meeting tomorrow at 9:40.  The first meeting will just be a social time, so we can all catch up with one another.  We will also go over the schedule for the next few months.  I am excited to see you all tomorrow!

Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

As I was reading this verse last night, I immediately thought of myself.  I do believe God can do anything (I mean, he created the world and everything in it!  And has done so many miracles! What more proof do I need than that!)  But all it takes is for Satan to plant that tiny doubt of unbelief, and then I start to question everything.  So my prayer today is that Jesus helps Me overcome my unbelief.

Coffee Night

I am so glad that I was able to chat with the ladies that came out for coffee tonight.  It is always great getting to know you more.  I truly enjoy spending time with you all.  We missed those of you that weren't able to come, hopefully you will be able to join us next month!

Another Trip to Bouncy Town

Another trip to Bouncy Town has been planned for Friday, February 25th.  Lets meet at 10:30 and plan on bringing a lunch/snacks to eat there.  I can't wait to see you there!

I am so glad I got to see a few of you today at Bouncy Town.  It was a lot of fun, the kids played so well!  We will have to do it again.  I will try to think of another outing we can do sometime soon, or if you have any ideas, let me know!

Bouncy Town Tomorrow

I am still planning on going to Bouncy Town, but have decided to bring a lunch there.  Then Logan can play, eat, and play some more!  So I hope to see you tomorrow!

Trip to Bouncy Town

Since next week is looking like it will be very cold, I thought Logan and I would go to Bouncy Town on Tuesday.  We will try to get there around 10:30.  If you would like to join us, we would love to have company!  We will most likely go to Mc Donalds or A&W for lunch after bouncing around for a while.  I hope to see you there!

February Weather Facts

It looks like we are starting February off with a bang, nothing like a blizzard warning for the first day of the month! :) I hope everyone stays safe and warm.
